First Holy Communion Class

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CLASS will be held on Sunday, March 26th from noon to 3:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Parents are requested to attend (and other family members are welcome). This class is designed to prepare our children to receive the Lord’s Supper for the first time. It is a decision made by the parents and the child as to when they feel they are ready to receive this sacrament. The Rite of Confirmation is not a requirement to receive Holy Communion, but a personal decision. This class will teach your son or daughter everything they need to know about Holy Communion in order for them to begin receiving the blessings and gifts of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Altar. During the class, students will have the opportunity to try the wine and grape juice as well as the bread. If there are any questions, concerns or food allergies, please let Pastor Jeanette know. Registration forms are located on the Bulletin Board just outside the Narthex. Please feel out a form if your child will be attending and return to Pastor Jeanette.
